Google Finally Reveals the Glass

Google co-founder Sergey Brin introduced the Google Glass in June last year
Fresh details about Google's eagerly-anticipated smart glasses have been released by the company.
A YouTube video uploaded by the company shows Google Glass in action, including the interface that appears in the wearer's line of sight.

The demonstration video showed how Google Glass can be used to take pictures and record video, as well as share content directly via email or social networks.
Other features appeared to include Skype-like video chats, and other related information, such as weather reports and map directions.
According to the description provided with the video: "Want to see how Glass actually feels? It's surprisingly simple. Say "take a picture" to take a picture. Record what you see, hands free. Even share what you see, live.
"Directions are right in front of you. Speak to send a message, or translate your voice. Get the notifications that matter most. Ask whatever’s on your mind and get answers without having to ask."
Google has launched a new website and a series of videos which show off features of the glasses — or what it is now officially calling Glass. As you can see in the video below, the glasses can be controlled with your voice and then a small box appears in the right hand corner of the glasses showing the software.
Those selected will need to pre-order the developer version of the Glasses — called the Glass Explorer Edition — for $1,500. Google has already begun showing off the glasses to developers in New York, San Francisco and Lons Angeles this month.
