Facebook has cooked up a 2013 Year in Review tool to show you the 20 most important moments of your year, including life events, highlighted posts and your most popular stories.

In addition to your most popular photos and status updates, you'll see how many new Facebook friends you made, how many people wrote on your wall for your birthday and how many new pages you liked.

You can try the tool for yourself by going to Facebook Year In Review. The tool isn't available for brands. You can try out any of your friends by entering their Facebook user name in the URL field. Ex: http://www.facebook.com/yearinreview/yourfriendsname.

Not surprisingly, the 20 most important events of my year were vacations and some work achievements — thoose are the kind of posts that received the most likes and comments from my Facebook friends and subscribers. Go ahead and discover yours. Once you try it out, Facebook will encourage you to share it with your friends.
